Blog Entry #3 Mint

After eating a delicious sub sandwich, my mouth was left with a garlicky stench that permeated around me. Let's just face it, I was in dire need of a lemon wedge. On the contrary, this time I came prepared, I had just polished off two green chile burritos that left a mark on my breath and I was in a rush to go to my grandfather's house, so I popped one of my emergency wedges in my mouth.

This taste of the wedge was so astonishing it deserves its own paragraph broken up into two! Just like anyone would, I quickly gobbled the lemon wedge in my mouth, but this was like no other wedge. I was instantaneously blown away! Immediately, the dark chocolate was the first layer of the wedge and it liquified into my mouth; leaving the taste of sweet chocolatey delight. Who cannot resist chocolate? It is most people's favorite flavor and indeed the chocolaty flavor was an introduction of what was to come with my next bite.

I thought the first layer of this pleasant wedge was sufficient as it was, but then there was the second layer. The transition of tastes was smooth like a boxer's punches with a quick combination of a one-two punch from chocolate to a refreshing taste. At this time, my taste buds were on a rollercoaster. To elaborate, the refreshing taste was almost like toothpaste. The way this wedge worked was it provides a chocolate taste to meet a person's sweet tooth and then cleanses the mouth with a crisp freshness. Furthermore, the second layer appeared as a white and fluffy filling. Since this appeasing treat contained only 70 percent less fat, it, sure enough, tasted like another one!

  1. Hello,

I enjoyed your descriptive words about your wedge and the dark chocolate and white fluffy filling. I honestly have been trying to figure out what type of mint this is, but I have no idea, but it sure sounds like my kind of mint, delicious.
Thanks for the visual, now can you tell me what the mint is?
