Blog Entry #10 STOP What You Are Doing. Take a Deep Breath and Live The Good Life!
In a world of chaos, everyone is filled with emotions some good and some are bad, however, these emotions can impact people(s) lives. For instance, it is common psychology to compliment someone and receive a smile or thank you from the person being complimented, and vice versa for a negative reaction.
Everyone in society is dealing with enough stress in their life with the Coronavirus and personal issues that it is a nuisance to cause more havoc with a negative remark. Why bring so much drama in a short lifespan? I don't know. As a struggling society, we all need to unite as one to uplift each other up and out of these hard times we are all living in. NOW, this is living the good life!
It may be hard to live a good life without blowing a gasket, but try to be pious. There is no such thing as being too holy everyone can be holier and holier each second. Furthermore, let us refer to Mr. Rogers, he was a lovely man who taught morals to everyone about being a good person. During segregation in the '60s, Mr. Rogers showed the world it is okay to be friends with a black person. Therefore, it is valuable to build bridges and not burn them; who knows that person on the left or right of you might be your surgeon. Moreover, people must learn to forgive each other for their wrongs. St. Pope John Paul the second was the victim of an attempted assassination. He was shot multiple times and was left in critical condition, but thankfully he survived. If one were to be shot and survived the attack they would want to press charges on the suspect, well Pope John Paul 2 was a living and loving saintly man; thus later given the title Saint. The Pope did not want to press charges but instead, he met the suspect and forgave him! That is showing true mercy.
To recapitulate, in order to improve as a whole everyone must leave their old ways and try to work on something that will make society positive. Try will the small act of love as simple as a kind act for someone.
